Project Scope
The project comprises of Brownfield engineering of Piping & Piping Stress analysis of mounded bullet storage systems, hydrocarbon transfer network, pumping systems, and critical piping infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable terminal operations.
The project scope includes detail piping engineering, intelligent 3D modelling, and pipe stress analysis for a dedicated Propylene and LPG mounded bullet storage facility developed for safe hydrocarbon storage and transfer operations. The engineering activities are focused on establishing a technically coordinated facility layout with emphasis on operational safety, piping integrity, and efficient product handling systems.
The facility incorporates four Propylene mounded bullets, each having a diameter of 8.5 m and a length of 62 m with an approximate filling capacity of 1,762 MT per bullet. In addition, the facility includes four LPG mounded bullets measuring 7.0 m diameter and 73 m length, each designed with a storage capacity of approximately 1,415 MT. The storage systems are integrated with dedicated transfer pump arrangements and associated process and utility piping infrastructure.
Engineering activities include intelligent 3D model development, piping routing, piping layout preparation, isometric extraction, support detailing, and stress analysis of critical piping systems subjected to thermal movement, pressure loading, and operational conditions. Particular attention is given to piping flexibility, support configuration, nozzle load protection, accessibility, and safe integration within the storage terminal environment.
The engineering scope also includes coordination of transfer pump systems, utility interfacing, structural integration, and operational access arrangements to support safe and uninterrupted handling of LPG and Propylene products. The intelligent 3D modelling environment is utilized for routing optimization, clash elimination, spatial coordination, and constructability assessment across all interconnected systems.
The overall engineering execution is developed in accordance with applicable design codes, hydrocarbon handling standards, and project specifications to ensure structural integrity, operational safety, maintainability, and reliable facility performance throughout construction, commissioning, and long-term operation.
